The Lady Varnishes - Dwimorberg

Hi friends!  Hope you're enjoying your long weekend.  I always have a long weekend as I get Sun, Mon and Tues off, so Mon holiday's are never an extra day off for me.  Oh well!

I have another Lady Varnishes polish to show you.  After I wore Erebor, I immediately went out and bought three other polishes from the There and Back Again collection.  This one stood out to me the most.  This one is Dwimorberg.

Dwimorberg was part of the White Mountains that we found the Army of the Dead from Return of the King.  And this color completely reminds me of the Army of the Dead.

I can't even begin to describe the color.  It's obviously green.  But it flashes pink, emerald and gray.  It's absolutely stunning.  I couldn't capture the gray or pink in any of my pics, but check out the listing as the blogger does a much better job of capturing this color.

This whole collection dries matte, but hot damn if it isn't absolutely gorgeous with topcoat!  I couldn't NOT put it on!

I have two more colors from this collection to show you (once I finally wear them of course), so be on the lookout for those!

Have a great day!

The Lady Varnishes - Erebor

Hi friends!  I expect there will be more, but I hope to get some post's scheduled here soon.  I've run into unexpected complications with my pregnancy so I haven't wanted to do much of anything, let alone blog. But I was excited to show you guys this polish, so here I am!

I received this polish in the mail early this week, and boy was it a lovely surprise!  The Lady Varnishes just might be my favorite indie, and owner Kristen is super nice to work with.

She sent me this polish in Erebor, and YES, it's collection based off the regions of Middle Earth!  Que geeky Tolkien freakout moment for me! lol!

Anyways, Erebor (which is named after the Lonely Mountain, of the Hobbit fame) is a unique polish that I can't quite describe.  It's a grayed out mauve-ish base with lots of shimmer.  The base shifts a little from the mauve to a more red-ish pink.  There's pink and green shimmer, with larger silver flecks throughout.  It also dries matte, but I liked it better with topcoat, so that's what you see here.

You will be seeing more from this collection from me, as I jumped on Etsy right away to purchase more from Kristen.  Hopefully I can show you guys those soon.

The Lady Varnishes can be purchased through Etsy, she makes all sorts of collections from movies, books, TV shows that inspire her.  Lots of them for nerdy people like me!  So please check her polishes out!
