Hi friends! Hope you all are having a fantastic weekend. We are having some perfect fall weather here, and the leaves are finally changing. I know a lot of people say it, but the beginning of Fall is one of my favorite times of year!
I decided to do some "nail art" with the OPI Rock Goddess mini's I picked up at TJ Maxx for $5.99. They also had the Couture De Minnie Mini set as well...for anyone interested. : )
Of the set, I used Yellopalooza, Stand in Lime for Days, and The Drummer is Hot. First I used a coat of white (ChG White on White), then used the yellow, the "lime" (which I think looks more chartreuse) and then the orange. I made lines of them on a piece of tinfoil, then used my fan brush, picked the colors up, then painted onto my white base.
I LOVE the way the fan brush makes this look. I love being able to kinda see the brush strokes....makes it look like a painting or some shit. LOL!
You will have noticed I cut my nails down. They were just too long to function (especially at work where I type all day). I also rounded the tips more than usual. I had actually started to round the tips into mini stiletto's, but I really wanted ultra nubbins to wear some vampy fall shades, so I just kept filing. I'm going to see if I can keep the more rounded shape.
For those of you wondering about my Glossy Glam topcoat, I think I'm going to put together a comprehensive topcoat post soon....and I'll tell you why it's not my HG. So be on the lookout for that in the next few days, weeks, or months. : )
And for those of you wondering which OPI set I'm using, here it is. I can't wait to wear Rolling Bones, it looks like my kinda color!
