Hiya! Hope everyone is having a fantastic week. I've had 4 days off, and it's awfully nice! Seriously, if I had to only work 2 days a week, I would be a really happy girl! Anyone have fun plans for tomorrow? I don't, I think we are just going out to dinner...where? I dunno! I'm just preparing myself for all the engagement announcements tomorrow. lol
So yesterday morning I went early morning grocery shopping. My favorite grocery store to go to is Fred Meyer's since they have a huge cosmetics department, and always have new stuff. I was wandering around in the cosmetics department when I spotted these new Milani Textured Cremes. So much fun! There were 6 colors and I picked up 3 of them. For whatever reason I thought I picked up the purple, but I guess I didn't, lol. I also love that the labels on these are textured as well....you know, it's the small things!
I used all three colors for this mani. Shady Gray, Spoiled in Fuchsia and Aqua Splash. I think it's pretty obvious which one's which.
Lol at my left hand....
These all had great formulas, though the teal was a bit sheer. These dry a lot quicker than the OPI Sand's, though if you applied *too* much, it dries super slow, so you want to make sure you make make the coats even.
I seriously love this trend. I know a lot of people hate it, but I can't help but love it! I will say that I love the OPI's a little bit more because of the glitter they add, but I still love these!
How do you all feel about textures?
Bumpy nails haha-cool!
ReplyDeleteI definitely love this trend too. These are pretty, but they still look "wet"
ReplyDeleteDo they stay this shiny?
They do kinda stay this shiny. The teal seems a bit more matte than the other two. These seem to dry down faster than the two OPI sands I have
ReplyDeleteI am soooo glad you posted this! I was THIS CLOSE to buying the Nails Inc brand but it's sooo expensive!
ReplyDeleteI have the OPI Sand on now and love the glitter with the grittiness. I love the way your nails look with this polish - it's such a unique effect!
ReplyDeleteI really, *really* wish they made these in black cause I REALLY want the Nails Inc leather polish! Oh well, I'm sure someone will come out with a black.
ReplyDeleteThank you! It really is a unique effect, and I happen to love it.
ReplyDeleteLooks awesome but I think i would pick it off my nails becuase of the texture. How did it feel while you were wearing them? Did you have any urges....lol. Great colors!
ReplyDeleteI think I like texture with glitter more.
ReplyDeleteHow easy/hard to remove is this textured polish ?
ReplyDeleteLol, no urges to pick off, but I do like to touch them a lot with this kinda polish on.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I think I do too.
ReplyDeleteSuper easy to remove. Though the "sand" part of this can get everywhere when you're removing. It's nothing like a glitter polish.
ReplyDeletebesides the purple you mentioned, what other colors did you see?
