Nail Spam #1

Good morning! And what a beautiful morning it is here in the PNW.  The sun is actually shining.  We haven't had much of a summer so far, lots of rain and cloudy days.  Contrary to popular believe, it does not always rain here in Washington.  We actually have really beautiful summers, and that's what I love so much about it here.

I feel like I'm running around a lot these last couple of days.  I'm sort of a procrastinator, and I realized yesterday its a little bit more than a month before one of my cousins wedding, and that includes planning a trip to Lake Tahoe where the wedding is.....good job Angie.  After looking at different hotels down there, I find out most of them are booked for the weekend I need.  And we still haven't decided if we are driving of flying down there.  I think it would be fun to do a little road trip, as we have never done such a long one before, so we are leaning more toward that.

Anyways, I'm going to break these post down into a few spam posts as I have A LOT of nail pics to show you.  I didn't realize I had so many, as I really didn't go out of my way to take nail pics on my hiatus.  And I will apologize now that I don't remember formulas and application on most of these.  So here we go!

a-England's Ascalon. What a GORGEOUS polish!  Holographic duochrome? Yes please!

I also did my first "fish egg" mani with it.

a-England's Princess Tears.  I'm 99.9% sure this is Princess Tears.  It just doesn't look much like it.  Again, its a holographic duochrome, and I loved it!

Barielle's Falling Star.  This has been a lemming of mine for a while, and I picked it up recently on Hautlook and I'm glad I did.  This is one of those polishes that has a love/hate following, and I happen to love it.  I think the reason it has a hate following is that the copper glitter doesn't sparkle, but that's why I love it so much.  I'm so glad I finally picked this one up, the royal blue is stunning.

China Glaze Ahoy.  I already have quite a few colors like this, and I'm working on thinning my stash.

China Glaze Fast Track.  If you have been following my blog for a while, you might know how much I LOVE colors like this. Ahh gold shimmer!  This is very close to one of my absolute favorite polishes Essence Irreplaceable, so this one is not going anywhere!

China Glaze Flying Dragon (neon).  The GOOD version of Flying Dragon!  I've showed you the bad version before (please don't laugh at my crappy pics!!), and the good version just more than makes up for it.  It is awesome!

Essie Navigate Her.  This is seriously one of my favorite colors this year.  Would never have guessed it as greens tend to look very unflattering on me, but pistachio greens apparently look awesome on me.  I've been so obsessed with these kinda greens this year, I've picked up a few others.

And last but not least is Milani's Tip Toe Pink.  A lovely bubblegum pink.  I realized I didn't have any Barbie pinks in my collection like this, but now I do, and I really loved this one.

I hope you all have a fantastic day, and that your weather is as gorgeous as mine....I need to get out in it like NOW!!  So see ya!

Cirque - Fascination Street

Hello!  Long time no see!  I might be up and running here soon.....maybe not with my computer since I'm too lazy to get it fixed o.O , but with my mom's tiny notebook computer.  She has a few of those Acer notebook computers that are the size of a iPad....this thing is tiny!

Well I'm just going to get right to it!  This stunner of a polish is Fascination Street by Cirque.  Cirque is a new polish brand, and it looks like they just opened up earlier this month.  I got 2 other polishes from their Dark Horse collection, but I know I want more, like Vaudeville....that one looks gorgeous!

And wow, was the shipping fast.  I couldn't believe how fast it was.  I ordered on Sunday, got my shipping notice on Monday, and got my polishes from NY all the way to Seattle on Wednesday!  That's crazy!

Lets talk about Fascination Street here for a second.  All I can say is wow!  I don't have anything like this in my collection.  I have a handful of purple holo's, but nothing this dark.  It is absolutly stunning in real life....my phones camera does not do this justice.

I was worried about the formula when I started to apply it.  The formula seems thin, and it was pretty thin on the first coat.  The second really covered up the bare spots, but the third made it totally opaque.  The nice thing about the formula is it doesn't have that annoying dragging thing most holos have.  I seriously wanted to wear this all last week....but alas, my untried pile is HUGE!

I can't wait to show you guys the other 2 polishes I got from this collection, Dark Horse (which looks to be similar to Butter London's Black Knight and Debris which is an awesome glitter mix of silver hex, square and micro holo glitter with tons of black square glitter mixed in.

I hope you all are doing well!  I actually had my 30th birthday last Monday.  It hasn't really kicked in that I turned the big 3-0....but its bound to happen soon, lol!

Julep - Courtney

Hello!!  Long time no see!  I hope you all are doing well.  As far as me?  You know, same ol', same ol'.  Now that the excitment of the engagment has settled in.  Actually one thing exciting last month was that my fiance's (lol, I have yet to call him that, it feels so weird!) brother and SIL just had their first baby.  I'm a new auntie, and it's so much fun!  We totally want to have boys, but OMG is it fun buying baby stuff for girls!  This little girl is going to be so spoiled by her auntie!

I still haven't figured out what is wrong with my computer, but I thought I would be able to post from my phone...which I can, I just can't post pictures....bummer.  So, I have to take a pic with my phone, email it to myself, and then post it....and here it is!

Can I just say how much I love these pistacio green colors coming out right now!  This is Julep's Courtney which came in my latest Julep Maven box.  This reminds me a lot of Essie's Navigate Her, but this one is a bit brighter, and the Essie is a bit dusty-er.

Thanks everyone for sticking with me, and hello to all my new followers!
