China Glaze - Glitter Goblin

Good morning!  Hope everyone is having a fantastic weekend.  Last night we went to dinner at Maggiano's.  If' you've never been there, you have been missing out!  It is FANTASTIC Italian food.  If you get one of their classic dishes, you get a SECOND dish to take home!  You heard me right!!  Its two for the price of one there......its quite amazing, and I wish other places did this too!

Anywho, I got this polish at my last trip to Sally's, and it quite surprised me.  I did not want this when I saw swatches.  I went in the store, picked up the bottle, and bought it.  Even when I got home I was like "why did I pick this up?".  I still didn't like it.  I'm still not crazy about it looking at it in the bottle.  BUT!!  Oh  how I love it on!!

This is China Glaze Glitter Goblin.  Obviously, as the name implies, it's a Halloween polish.  I had only planned on picking up the grey polish from this collection (which by the way was sold out at my Sally's).  But I ended up really liking this polish on.

I can not for the life of me figure out what kind of glitter this contains.  As I was applying it, I really had the impression there were flakies in here....but there aren't.  I think it was the large holo glitter in here.  I honestly think its just large orange/bronze and large holo glitter.  When I look at the bottle, I feel like there's more to it than that....but I don't think there is.  My eyeballs just can't take all that is this polish!

(sorry this pic is so blurry, my camera had a hard time with this polish!)

Application was pretty good.  When I look at it in the shade, I see areas that aren't as thick as others.  Another coat probably would solve that, but I was good with just one (plus the base polish underneath).

In the sun, my camera could not handle this!  You see my holding the bottle of polish I used as a base.  This was another surprise hit that I will have to wear alone, and show for another day! (its Orly's Buried Alive)

I should probably go get ready, we're going to breakfast and a movie this morning at Cinebarre!
