Orly - Decades of Dysfunction ft. Nina Ultra Pro - Holographic Topcoat

Goodmorning!  I did some "nail art" this am.  Cause as you all know, I don't do nail art, besides these glitter gradients, lol.  Sally's was having their 50% off of clearance items this weekend and I got this Orly polish along with a couple China Glaze polishes for a dollar and some change each.  I probably didn't NEED this color, but I got it anyway.

The base color I used was Orly's Decades of Dysfunction.  Its a lovely nude that has a tiny hind of lavender in it.  I love that this manicure is very subtle.

I used Nina Ultra Pro's Holographic Topcoat.  I have to say I love the new bottles for their polishes.  They are more updated looking.  They also have an awesome new brush that reminds me of the Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure brushes.

The polish looks to have micro holo glitter in a golden base with large iridescent glitter similar to China Glaze Snowglobe.  I quite like it.

And here's a shot of DoD on its own.

Has anyone else picked up these new Nina Ultra Pro's?

  2. That is so cute, I am going to have to look for that top coat! I picked up Decades of Dysfunction on sale at Sally's, too! For less than $2, it was hard to resist... Haha, I now have three of the colors from this collection, and wasn't planning on buying any! I ended up buying L'Oreal's "Tea & Crumpets" a few days later, which looks like Decades of Dysfunction + a hint of beige... I really like these really pale off-nudes, though.

I got fake nails ago for the first time in my life and I'm now 1,000x more obsessed with nail polish. I wish I'd gotten mine done in this style. It's so classy yet girly and fun at the same time with the sparkle tips!! I only really see nail looks when I'm on MakeupBee cause you are the only nail blogger I follow but I really wish I saw more looks like this on that site because it's the kind of manicure that inspires 'regular' girls like me who can't do fancy, crazy designs. You should share this look on there so I can like it and add it to my new nail inspiration board!! Plzzzzzz.

  6. I can't seem to stop buying nudes ether! I don't even want to know how many I have.

You gotta love Sally's clearance section! I always love seeing a polish there that I have been really debating on (like China Glaze Harvest Moon).

  7. I should start using my Makeup Bee account, but its a bit overwhelming! AND there is just not enough time in my day with all these different beauty sites I've joined!

Makes me feel special that I'm your only nail blogger! But seriously my blog sucks compared to other nail bloggers....I just don't have the nail art skills of some other ladies! lol
