Nubar Brilliant

Hi guys!  I'm going to try this whole scheduled post thing.  I should be heading to Lake Tahoe as we speak!

I'm pretty sure this is my first Nubar.  This is Nubar Brilliant.  Its a lovely, scattered soft pink.  I got this at the nail supply store I frequent.  This said supply store is sort of a......disaster.  Seriously, its so cluttered, and there is nail polish EVERYWHERE!!  I personally love it cause every time I go in, there is different stuff.  I've never seen Nubar until this last time I went in, and the display was.....on the ground.  Seriously, like a little three rack display, on the ground.

Anyways, I picked this one up, and it had that look to it that said it was a holo.  Y'all know what I mean right?  That kinda dusky look that holos have in the bottle.  I only have 1 other pink holo, so I picked this one up.

I quite like it.  I know a lot of people aren't crazy about scattered holos but I really like the look of them.

Do you like scattered holos?

  2. This is really pretty, I love the rosy-pink color of the base! Hah, I don't think I know what the difference between a scattered holo and a normal holo is (is a traditional holo polish the kind where you get the prism effect on the nail, as opposed to something like this where you get rainbow-y bling everywhere? Am I making things up?), but I quite like this!

  3. Such a pretty holo! I do like scattered holos, gives it the pretty sparkle of glitter without being a pain to remove...
    Have fun on your trip!
P.S. What is this mess of a supply store you talk about ;)

  5. Thank you! Was quite a shock when we got off the plain last night at it was 90 degrees here! Must have had some nice weather in WA while I was away!

  6. You are correct! The linear holo's are the ones that create the prismatic effect where the scattered are just that, scattered holo particles.

  7. Its a secret!! Lol, naw! Its called A to Z Nail Supply, and its in the little strip mall where Ranch Market is in Shoreline. Its seriously a disaster of a store though, and customer service is definitely lacking! But they have lots of HTF's.
