Hello!  I was so excited to get this polish last week, you have no idea!  I'm not really into the whole indie polish thing, I feel like a lot of them are just random glitter thrown in a bottle (eek, don't kill me!).  BUT, when I first laid eyes on this polish I NEEDED it!  When I heard Amy from I'm Feeling Nail-Venturous wasn't making this polish anymore, it made me sad, and I thought I would never own it.  But then someone at PAA posted that Ninja Polish is making Floam AND it was stock, I jumped on that!

And guess what?  I LOVE it!

It was a bit thick.  Next time I will use a base polish so I don't have to use 3 coats.

But look at the depth!  Excuse the bubbles.  This is 3 coats of polish, 2 coats of gelous and a coat of topcoat all with the air conditioning on.  You really can't tell there's bubbles!  I think the thing I'm most surprised about is that its just blue and yellow glitter.  I always thought this had green glitter in it!  But I guess since blue and yellow = green....that's why it look like that.  Pretty cool!

How do you feel about indies?

  1. I wish I could get my hands on more indie polish, a lot of Etsy shop owners do not currently at this time ship to New Zealand :( I love Floam, for some reason it makes me think of pixels... Every single swatch I have seen makes me think of them! I think its due to the lovely teeny tiny glitter bits.

  2. Ooh this is so awesome looking! I thought there was green glitter in there, too... What a neat effect.

  3. Very pretty! I actually like the bubbles in your macro shot... For some reason makes me think of waterlilies floating on the water :)

  4. Hey, I nominated you for a blogger award at my blog :)

  5. I know it's a lot of coats, but it looks soooooo awesome!!!!!!! p. s. i had no idea i wasn't following you, but I sure am now :)))
