Hiya. I've gotten so behind with my posts. And as I said with my last post, I haven't really felt like blogging ether. I didn't even take pics of my awesome nails from yesterday when I wore CND's Sapphire Sparkle over a dark navy....it was stunning! I need to get my more of these CND topcoats.
And incase anyone is wondering, I wore nice jeans to lunch with my mom, and I didn't feel uncomfortable. Being lunch, I thought it would be more casual and I was right. And man what a stunning restaurant. It overlooks Elliot Bay in Seattle AND they have a "pond" if you will running through it, but it has actual sea life in it! It was awesome! And their lunch menu wasn't that bad for being such a nice restaurant. My lunch with my mom was cheaper than my dinner last night with my guy at Cinebarre. Anyone else have a Cinebarre in their area? I think they are so awesome. We went to see Immortals, which was ok I guess. I love Roman and Greek mythology, and this was just ok. I love the way they shot it though, as I loved 300. But story line was just meh. Anyone else see it??
Love and Beauty's Midnight. Yup, this one is simply "midnight". I freaking HATED this manicure. I layered it over China Glaze's Little Drummer Boy, and I think it was too dark or something, I just hated the way this looked. I applied this at night, and by the morning, it was off already..
China Glaze's Lorelei's Tiara. This is actually what I'm wearing right at this very moment. Meh, it's ok. I actually thought I would like it a lot more.
OPI's Designer De Better. Can someone please explain to me the name? I was never a huge Muppet fan when I was a kid, so I don't understand it at all.
I really loved this one, it's a champagne foil with some bronze thrown in there for a little diversity. I actually got lots of compliments on this one. I think because it was flashy, but subtle at the same time.
OPI's Espresso Your Style. This was a bit of a disappointment. Looking at all the shimmer in the bottle, it was disappointing that it didn't really translate to the nails.
OPI's Russian Navy Suede. I'm pretty sure I've shown this before, but in it's "suede" form. This is my go to quick mani. You only need one coat for complete coverage. I almost always use 2 for more depth, but I have worn one when I was in a hurry. And since it's a matte, it dries super quick. I've put this one many times now, when I've woken up and hated what was on my nails, and don't have time to do a complete mani before work. Yup....love it!
I don't know what it is about navy polishes I love, but I think it must look very flattering with my skin tone. I will need to do a full mani of China Glaze's Little Drummer Boy again, cause that is one stinking gorgeous navy!
