Orly - Androgynie and my first galaxy nails

Yell-o!  Hope everyone is having a good week.

I bought this polish the other day, after reading reviews and seeing swatches, I didn't think I would pick it up as everyone seems disappointed that the hex glitter in this polish doesn't really show up on the nail.  But, I really liked the way it looked in the bottle with the multi colored hex glitter and gold shimmer.  Once I put it on the nail I liked it more.  The gold shimmer makes it kinda a smokey black.  I had a hard time getting the hex glitter to come out of the bottle, and it also sunk into the black jelly base.  The good news, is that this polish was totally opaque in 2 coats.  I thought it might be sheer being a jelly polish.

This reminded me of the night sky, so I thought it a good time to try galaxy nails for the first time.

I kinda went a little overboard.  Next time, I won't use as many polishes, and won't cover up the base color as much as I did.  I also won't add the white dots that are supposed to be stars, cause they just look stupid!!  But being my first time, and the fact that I SUCK at nail art, I didn't think it was that bad.  But looking at this picture now, I realized I haven't cleaned up yet....oopsie!!
